Bowen therapy was suggested for Bell's palsy condition. I was obviously sceptical but went ahead as there was not much to loose given the impact of the condition on my face. Here is the most interesting aspect I experienced during my sessions - the 1 hour sessions were absolutely inconsequential, as if nothing was happening. Unlike the experience in other therapies (like physiology, acupuncture, acupressure, etc,) where you can actually feel the therapist working on you, Bowen therapy at best put me to sleep. I actually wondered whether it was worth it.
The after-effects of the sessions proved to be otherwise. The expected physical symptoms (as explained by the therapist) were manifested within the next ~2 days. In just over 8 weeks, the effects of Bells palsy on my face have markedly reduced. I would say it is about 70-80% recovery. I don't know how this therapy works on the body, but it has been a boon for me.

We were introduced to Bowen when we were going through a very emotionally tough time. We were planning baby after 9 years and had a miscarriage. One of our friend recommended for me to go to Farida aunty who does Bowen. Farida aunty was travelling so she referred me to Ferangiz. She was very kind and along with being a Bowen practitioner she has a kind heart. Ferangiz helped me become physically and mentally ready and also helped my 10 year old. With the things happening at home my child was very mentally disturbed and unsettled. Ferangiz was at our rescue by giving her Bowen too. I truly thank for the Bowen therapy and the support she has shown to my family throughout. Bowen helped me relax a lot more which in turn helped me have a better mindset to conceive. I guess even though we were going to go through the IVF process Bowen helped to have better egg quality and prepare my uterus for the embryo. I had an uneventful pregnancy and today we are blessed with a precious baby girl who is 3 month. Ferangiz is more a friend to me than just a Bowen practitioner.

I was introduced to Bowen therapy by my mother who also visits Ferangiz's clinic for Bowen. I've had dizziness problem since more than 15 years which really made it hard for me to travel long or short distances in car. In just 3 sessions its gone. I can't believe how effective Bowen is. I could literally feel the change. Bowen has also helped me with several other issues. I had constipation problem, sleeping problem, period pain and flow problem, post period chest pain, plantar facia and headaches. After just 3 Bowen sessions with Ferangiz I feel really good. I didn't have period pain this time and my foot pain has gone, period flow is better and so is my chest pain. I had severe lower back pain and wasn’t able to sit upright at work. Ferangiz asked me if I would like to give it a try Bowen therapy that she practices. I had nothing to lose so I said yes. 2 minutes job in first aid room at the office and we were done. Initially, I was like really??? That’s it??? Nothing’s happened, I still feel as bad I did before and she was like, wait for a day, and I did. After a day, 90% of the pain was gone and I was getting back to normal sitting posture. I have known Ferangiz for several years and have been interested in her practice of bowen treatments. I suffer with constant migraine and she suggested a few sessions might help. Initially I wasn’t convinced but thought I’d give it go. She explained the process to me. She was very professional as well as personable. Bowen Therapy has helped me tremendously in the past, once again it has proved to be a Winner. I had started experiencing pain in my right foot & it was very extreme. I was unable to put my foot down after waking up in the morning, let alone walking, I was limping to go to the bathroom. I consulted Ferangiz as I was unable to carry out daily routine activities. Ferangiz asked me to come for 1st session where she released all the points & that gave me 60% relief next morning. I was still limping but less painful during the whole day. I followed her instructions and exercises. Ferangiz also explained me that it was Plantar fasciitis which is very common. I went for session # 2 which went for 30 minutes, once again Ferangiz triggered the pain area and Voila. I had 100 % relief next morning and was able to run around as usual. The pain has not come back at all. I would highly recommend Ferangiz for her absolute attention to detail approach and warm attitude. Bowen has once again proved to be a complete medication free approach to achieve good health.

Thank you so much for helping me get through towards the end of my pregnancy. Two weeks to go, the sciatica nerve pain became excruciating pain to walk and my tailbone painful to sit on. I had one session with Ferangiz and after that I got up and walked around without any pain. What a blessed relief!
